Fishing or swimming in the lake is illegal for cleanliness reason. The water is noted to be greenish in colour during dry weather and a murky brown after a downpour.
Here are the records that we have taken:
Air temperature ----- 29.5 degrees celsius
Water temperature ----- 3.0 degrees celsius
pH ----- 6.1 pH
Dissolved oxygen ----- 12.3 mg/L
Turbidity ------ 56.3 NTU
Salinity ----- 0.06 dS/m
We found out that the water was a little polluted due to the nearby factories giving out sewage without getting it treated first. There were grass, dead leaves and branches near the lake. Snail eggs and coconut husks can be seen in the water and around the lake. Little fishes was swimming in the water and i think that this is cause because of the temperature that was good the how polluted the water is.
